Overview

The Backup & Restore UI

The Backup & Restore section provides an overview of all backups created for your Farseer workspace. Backups are displayed in a table that includes the user who created them, the backup type, system version, creation date, and file size. Each backup entry includes options to download or restore the backup, shown on the right side of the list.

How Backups Work

Restoring a backup will revert the entire workspace to the exact state it was in at the time the backup was created. Because this action overwrites the full workspace, it should be used with caution.

Farseer automatically performs a daily backup of your workspace. In addition to automatic backups, you can manually create a new backup or upload an existing one from outside the system. These options are available in the upper-right corner of the interface.

You can also filter backup entries using the filter options at the top—allowing you to narrow results by year, month, or uploaded backups.
