Filters

Filters and options

You can use any dimension or dimension table into a sheet-wide filter using the "Add Filter" option.

Filter options:

  • Filter display: Choose how filter labels appear.

  • Enable Multiselect: Select multiple members at once.

  • Use blanks: Show rows with no assigned value for the selected dimension.

Rows, Columns & Templates

Toolbar options: Template (Clients Table), Adding new row/column, Templates settings

  • + Row: Adds a new row linked to a variable or dimension.

  • + Column: Add custom columns that are independent of the timeline:

    • Lookup Properties: Pull properties from a dimension table.

    • Table Relations: Add columns directly from related dimension tables.

    • Calculation Columns: Create columns based on formulas and existing data.

  • Templates: Quickly insert predefined row structures. Can be exposed to the toolbar

Display Controls

Additional Display Controls

  • Show Finder: Show or hide the Sheet Finder.

  • Show Formula Bar: Show or hide the formula for the currently selected variable. If a variable exists in both the row and column, the column variable takes priority—so its formula is the one displayed (and used) in the cell.

  • Collapse / Expand Rows: Expand or collapse hierarchy levels.

  • Show Forecast Progress: View forecasting status and history.

Export to .xlsx

Exports the sheet to Excel:

  • Export expanded rows: Exports what is currently visible.

  • Export all rows: Exports the entire hierarchy.

App Shortcuts

Add and launch apps directly from the sheet.

Sheet Options

Sheet Options

  • Only With Data: Hide rows without data. (Works only with generated rows)

  • Stacked: Flip the layout so columns become rows.

  • Timeline: Disable the timeline if you want a non time-based sheet.

  • Reference another sheet: Sync filters, timeline, rows, or columns with another sheet. More on referencing below.

  • Name / Description / Both: Control row label display.

  • Reset Column Order: Restore columns to original order.

Sheet Referencing

Sheet Referencing syncs one sheet with another so they share filters, timeline, rows and columns. This saves setup time and keeps similar sheets aligned.

Referencing Options

  • Use its filters: Use the referenced sheet’s filter setup.

  • Use its timeline: Sync the timeline selection.

  • Use its rows: Use the same row structure.

  • Use its columns: Use the same custom columns.

When an option is enabled, the current sheet becomes locked for that configuration.

Example

If Sheet B references Sheet A:

  • Changing the filter on Sheet A and saving will update Sheet B.

  • Disabling “Use its rows” resets Sheet B to a blank row structure.

  • Disabling “Use its columns” removes custom columns inherited from Sheet A.

Sheet Referencing also works the same way in Dashboard tiles, but you can only reference real sheets, not sheet tiles.
