Overview
Farseer supports storing and previewing files directly within your workspace. Files are first-class items in the folder tree, alongside sheets, dashboards, and dimension tables.
Supported File Types
The file preview supports the following formats:

Files with unsupported extensions show a download-only fallback.
Previewing Files
Click on any file in the folder tree to open its preview page. Each file type renders differently:
Spreadsheets render in a read-only interactive grid where you can scroll through rows and columns.
Images display inline at full width.
Code files open in a syntax-highlighted code editor with full editing support.
PDFs render page-by-page with Previous and Next buttons and a page counter.
Editing Code Files
Code files can be edited directly in the browser. The editor supports syntax highlighting for JavaScript, TypeScript, and other common languages.
To save your changes, press Cmd+S (Mac) or Ctrl+S (Windows/Linux), or click the Save button in the toolbar. Editing requires appropriate permissions on the file.
Downloading Files
Every file can be downloaded using the Download button in the toolbar. The toolbar also displays the file size for reference.
Files can also be shared with other users using the Share sidebar, just like any other Farseer item.
